TN Promise Summer Success Program

In light of COVID-19, we will no longer be hosting TN Promise Summer Bridge Programs this year. Instead, tnAchieves will be partnering with community colleges across the state to offer the TN Promise Summer Success Program which is an opportunity for students to get a head start by enrolling in their college’s version of the College Success course this summer! The program is completely FREE to students.

Students interested in the TN Promise Summer Success Program must register with tnAchieves by May 8, 2020! Spots are limited and students will be selected on a first come, first served basis.

Once registered with tnAchieves, please follow the guidelines listed in the chart below for next steps with your institution.

Please note:

  • Students should only register at the institution they plan to enroll in this fall as credit hours are not likely to be honored at any other institution.
  • Students must be admitted to their institution in order to participate. This simply means students must completed all required admissions and financial aid paperwork to be considered a student.
  • The TN Promise Summer Success Program is not offered at all TN Promise institutions. If you are interested in taking classes outside of the TN Promise Summer Success Program this summer, please contact your admissions office for details!
  • Performance in this program will impact your college GPA.
  • Certain institutions may have ACT requirements.
