Summer Bridge Program


The Summer Bridge Program is a FREE three-week program designed to help incoming students start on a more college-ready level, both academically and socially. Each day, students receive reading, writing and math instruction and attend a college success Lunch & Learn, where lunch will be provided. On the last day of the program, students have a chance to test out of learning support courses at the college they plan to attend. The program will run Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Is the Summer Bridge Program for me?

If you answer yes to any of the following questions, the Summer Bridge Program is for you:
  • Did you score below a 19 on the math section of the ACT?
  • Did you score below a 19 on the reading section of the ACT?
  • Did you score below an 18 on the English section of the ACT?
How do I apply?

To apply for the 2017 Summer Bridge Program, please complete the application by clicking here. Students are accepted to the Summer Bridge Program on a first come, first serve basis, so please apply early! The application will close one month prior to the program's start date.

Students will be required to submit a 500 word essay in a word document format on the following topic:
"Why is college important to you and what resources (i.e. mentor, tutoring, etc.) Do you think would be helpful to have to successfully graduate from college?"
